State of the Lake Project 2013

The 2013 project team from Fleming College were working on Leech Lake, September 27- 29, 2012, doing a lake assessment and setting the foundation for a long term plan for the betterment of our lake environmentally. Their report will be delivered later this year.

This year Murray Hall is spearheading the project for Leech Lake. If you were on the lake this past weekend and observed a different style boat that is Murray's boat specialized for project such as this. Kudos also to Valerie McCoy who housed the students for the weekend. They were treated Royally as usual. As well Jim and Lia Arner hosted a wonderful lunch for the team on Sunday.
