I saw a small black bear Monday morning, just the other
side of the marsh past the hunt camp on Fraserburg Road. Both of our dogs had a bad night Sunday,
wandering around the house, noses up at the windows and doors and occasional
barks. I'm pretty sure it was a bear in
the area but did not see any garbage destroyed on the North road on my way out
in the morning.
Just a heads up for people coming up.

Bear has been coming around nightly (Leech Lake Point Rd.) since friday, destroyed an older wood bin. Monday night came right up to front door. Scared it off with our car alarms. OPP were contacted & said to keep them posted of any more close encounters as they will take further action if necessary.
