Power Outage Dec.2/06
No Power on Lakeshore N. (right side only)
Hey no power agian for the right side. Just past Emergency #1183 a large fir tree has come down pulling the hydro lines with it. I'm thinking around 2am this morning, reported to Hydro at 9am and presently we are on a 'let you know' list of getting it repaired. Cannot see any other damage, went up and down the entire right side.
The tree is a bit too big for me so I'm leting the hydro guys clean it up when they arrive.
At the lake we got allot of wet snow (2-3inches) followed by an inch of light snow from yesterday till this morning. Not enough to plow but enough to make sure you have winter tires on to get in.

Thanks for the update on the conditions at the lake Don. Well I'm back on line. I guess when the Hydro guys repaired the lines on Sunday night (8-9pm), they must of cut my phone line.
The main cable is presently cut and down affecting everyone on Lakeshore North past #1127. Bell has a contractor coming next week to re-string the cable and then they come back to splice it back together. They got me going through a second cable that ends just at my pole. Sorry, but telephone service will be late next week for those past me.
Now we have about 4 (good) inches of snow, the road is plowed and everyone can get in and out if you are coming up. I topped up the sand barrels and sanded a couple of the hills this morning waiting for the bells guys to show. Please rememebr to fill those blue barrels back up if you use them, lots of sand at the turnaround when you come in.
That's it for now, time to take the dogs for a walk.
